Hope i was not gone for too long. And i still don't know how to get rid of the ad pop-ups. Ugh, annoying.

Had a pretty stressful clinic last Friday. Since i was doing things i haven't done since last year. The 1st patient's treatment was pretty good. I was so glad that the stupid impression turned out nicely.

Impression.

Then the 2nd patient came. She needed root canal treatment, which i can't perform. So the tutor had to do it. But i was told to give 2 freaking blocks (injections) and rubber dam in 15 minutes. This patient is needle-phobic, and yet i had to fucked up my 1st block. She was like...2 is enoughhhhhh, after i gave the 1st successful block. I didn't have the face to tell her the 1st one had fail, so i just shove her a very lame excuse. "The 1st one was just a very tiny one, so i have to give you a 3rd one." Can't believe i said that, doesn't even make sense at all. Then i just pushed her back into the dental chair and thrust the needle down.

Was sweating like hell after the injections. I even had to take down my mask and glasses to clean my face cos' it feels like my mask was soak in sweat. Which felt yucky. Yucky was my patient's favourite word. "My teeth feel yucky" "I don't want to be numbed, very yucky" "Give me water, i feel very yucky" I'm not trying to bitch about her, just find it very amusing.

Anyway, clinic ended better than i expected. Since the tutor was a substitute (i accidentally hit her pregant belly, hope the baby ddin't feel it =p), and she didn't write and bad things in my assessment form, so i guess i'd be safe.

Night ended with karaoke. Sang a hokkien (taiyu) song. I's so proud of myself i remembered the lyrics! Although the pitch was all wrong, but the others didn't know what i was singing. So who cares. Peng even clapped for me. Deluded, but i like. Hehehe. Thanks P.

Bye~ Hope this is not the last post in September.
