I have not updated my blog for god knows how long. Have actually forgotten perkypie dot com. My tagboard is going to turn into a complaint centre. Whoa. A lot of things i have done during the holidays. OK, i can't remember what i wrote in. I wrote an entry, just wrote an entry. And i pressed BACK when it was loading. Argh...knock my head on the wall. Okok, now lets start with my beach trip, the four souls' beach trip. Sounds kind of pathetic, only four of us. Anyway, it was quite fun though. Me, Asma, Peng and Marya, the four of us. Oh first, let me just clarify something.
Me: Xin Yee from Kuantan, Malaysia. Have long hair and a pale face.
Asma: Asma from Klang (or somewhere else) Selangor. JPA scholar. A Malay girl. Fairer than me. LOL.
Peng: Lee Peng from Selangor, which part i can't remember, probably PJ. Had been in Adelaide for 2 years. Is older than me. Yeah YOU Peng.
Marya: Marya from Arab Saudi. Lived before in Sydney, or somehow related to Sydney. My neighbour's neighbour.
Start. First, walk to the bus stop, waited for the bus, board the bus where i forgot my bus ticket and had to borrow it from Peng, sit and wait. 15 minutes journey, or maybe more. Beach beach!! Alot of people, summer houses along the beach, shops, surfers, sea gulls and us. It was a decent beach, minimal pollution and development. First thing we did was to have lunch. In a randomly picked shop. I shared with Peng a kids meal fish and chips and a pasta called erm.....some Italian alien name.
And then, we took a scroll along the beach. What could you possibly do on a bare beach i don't know. But yea, we examined the differences of Australian shells and Malaysian shells. Or only i did....Anyway, more colours for the Australian shells, that's it. Next after the stroll, we lied down on the grassy ground, man grown grassy ground. Just a suggestion of Asma, cause she thought it was quite cool to do that. Not as if we can do it in Malaysia, i wouldn't want some chewing gum caught in my hair. And i actually ignored the fact that there are seagulls roaming around the grassy area. Ahem....faeces. Didn't see any though.
Later, we walked along the pier, just for the sake of it. Caused it's already built there, so we thought we have the need to walk on it. And from there, we can see surfers! Sadly, it was not how i imagine surfing to be like. My glassy heart crashed. Let me just briefly describe how they surf: First, wait for a wave. When the wave is about to come, dash out with their surfing board. Stand on the board for hardly a minute. Plunge into the water. Get up and do it again. One word to describe: LAME. I was like what the heck!? I was expecting something similar to the PEPSI ad where David Beckham or some football dude surfed in it. So not! Or perhaps it was my fault to go at the wrong time. Tiny wave. Not summer.
Something i need to say: I'm currently on the worst ISP ever. @#$!*%$ AMNET. So this entry is doing to be photo-free. I'm trying the best i can to upload the photos, no use anyhow. So, thank you for reading. And stay tune for more updates in PERKYPIE DOT COM on perkypie's life in Adelaide. Salam mesra.
